Library Contact
Each library will designate a person to be their contact person. This person will be the library’s point person for the implementation. It should be someone with policy making authority (or close to it) and this person should plan to spend at least half of their working time on the implementation of this project (some weeks more, some weeks less) per Ex Libris. This should be someone who speaks MARC and understands the data of the library.
Library Technical Contact
Each library will also designate a technical contact. This person will be the individual who will install the clients on the workstations, etc. The technical contact may not be involved with Voyager full time. In some places this may be a person from the computer center, or it may be the systems librarian or network specialist.
University System Library and ITS Support
These individuals will be the persons who will provide input to the various groups and committees on a system-wide basis or within individual libraries.
