Information:  The Utilities section of the Control Panel contains a suite of Utilities that help the Administrator manage the GIL Support Services web site.

5.10.5.a View Control Panel Log (Updated: 6 December 2011)

Information:  The View Control Panel Log section of the Control Panel allows the Administrator to view access logs for your Control Panel.

5.10.5.b View Search Term Log (Updated: 6 December 2011)

Information:  The View Search Term Log section of the Control Panel allows the Administrator to view any logged search terms.

5.10.5.c View Throttle Log (Updated: 6 December 2011)

Information:  The View Throttle Log section of the Control Panel allows the Administrator to view all the IPs that are currently by “throttled” by ExpressionEngine from the Control Panel.

5.10.5.d SQL Manager (Updated: 6 December 2011)

Information:  The SQL Manager section of the Control Panel allows the Administrator to manage the GIL Support Services database.

Information:  The Plugin Manager page of the Control Panel allows the Administrator to view information about your installed plugins.

Information:  The Extensions Manager page of the Control Panel allows the Administrator to install and manage Extensions, which are small scripts that expand the core functionality of ExpressionEngine without hacking any of the ExpressionEngine files.

5.10.5.g Clear Cached Data (Updated: 6 December 2011)

Information:  The Clear Cached Data section of the Control Panel allows the Administrator to clear the cached data for the different types of caching that are available.

Information:  The Data Pruning section of the Control Panel allows the Administrator to “prune” or remove old section (weblog) entries, comments, forum posts, etc. based on various criteria.

5.10.5.i Find and Replace (Updated: 6 December 2011)

Information:  The Find and Replace section of the Control Panel allows the Administrator to search for text within the web site and replace it with another piece of text.

5.10.5.j Recount Statistics (Updated: 6 December 2011)

Information:  The Recount Statistics section of the Control Panel allows the Administrator to force the system to recount different types of statistics.

5.10.5.k PHP Info (Updated: 13 December 2011)

Information:  The PHP Info page of the Control Panel allows the Administrator to see the configuration details of the GIL Support Services web site PHP installation, via the standard phpinfo() command.

5.10.5.l Translation Utility (Updated: 13 December 2011)
Instructions: This Translation Utility page of the Control Panel allows the Administrator to translate the core language files into other languages. When the Administrator use the Translation Utility it will create a copy of any file that has been translated and put it into the following folder: system/translations/
5.10.5.m Import Utilities (Updated: 13 December 2011)

Information:  The Import Utilities section of the GIL Support Services web site includes the following utilities enabling the Administrator to import data from other publishing systems. 

5.10.5.n.A pMachine Import Utility (Updated: 6 February 2012)

The pMachine Import Utility will allow the Administrators to import data from a previous pMachine Free or Pro installation.

5.10.5.n.B Movable Type Import Utility (Updated: 6 February 2012)

Information: The Movable Type Import Utility enables people to migrate from Movable Type to the GIL Support Services site. Additionally, since the MT export format consists of a simple text file, it is common for those migrating from other publishing systems, like Blogger and Wordpress, to format their exported data such that the MT Import Utility can be used.

5.10.5.n.C Member Import Utility (Updated: 6 February 2012)
Instructions:  The Member Import Utility enables the Administrator to import Members from other systems utilizing ExpressionEngine’s special XML format.
