OCLC WorldShare Management Services Demo Coming in the Spring 2012

Submitted by Administrator on May 31, 2012

The University System of Georgia Libraries continue to host several WIMBA informational sessions as they do research for their move to a Next Generation Library System.  It is currently being planned to have a session in the Spring on “OCLC WorldShare Management Services (WMS)”.  This WIMBA session will include a discussion and live demonstration of the OCLC WMS.  However, in the meantime,  as plans are being made you are invited to take the time to learn more about the first services built on OCLC’s new technical infrastructure,  These services are Webscale Management Services, which have been rebranded as OCLC WorldShare Management Services, and include circulation, acquisitions and license management applications.  During February 2012 and prior to this WIMBA session OCLC will provide several online sessions concerning OCLC WMS.
