      <description><![CDATA[Thanks to all the hard work and dedication of folks from all over the state, we find our multi-year project one week away from go live.  Next Friday, May 26th, all GIL libraries will take the final step and utilize Alma in production.  While long hours and testing and training have occurred, problems do arise in a project of this scope.  The implementation team and Ex Libris will have all hands on deck to resolve any issues as efficiently as possible.  If you have any concerns regarding your campuses implementation, please reach out to your library representatives.  ]]></description>

We are fast approaching cutover activities that include freezing of technical services activities in Voyager.       <description><![CDATA[With a majority (but not all) of workflow scenario testing completed, the institutions now turn their attention to building training plans specific to their respective campuses.  The plans will pull from a variety of resources: existing materials provided by the vendor, policies/consortia decisions made by the functional project teams, and some webinars.  The goal is for each institution to train their staff and faculty during the month of April.  Contact your institutional lead if you have any questions.
