Chris Sharp

Bio

Chris Sharp joined the Georgia Public Library Service as PINES System Administrator in 2008 and has been the PINES team technical lead since.  Joining the PINES staff just after the launch of Evergreen in 2006, Chris has been a leader in the Evergreen ILS software community, serving on governance boards, conference planning committees, and as a core committer to the open source software project.  Before working at GPLS, Chris worked at the DeKalb County Public Library as a parapro and reference librarian after earning his MLIS from Florida State University in 2006.  In his spare time, Chris enjoys music, films, and exploring new ways to use open source software in everyday life.
