Bio

Emily B. Gore, a leader in the field of digital librarianship, is the associate university librarian of the University of Georgia Libraries. Gore leads digital collections, data management, scholarly communication, and other initiatives to enhance the research, instruction, and service missions of the libraries. Gore previously served as assistant dean for digital initiatives and technology infrastructure at University of Tennessee Libraries, director of content at the Digital Public Library of America, associate dean of libraries for digital scholarship and technology at Florida State University, and head of digital initiatives and information technology at Clemson University. She earned a master’s degree in library science from the University of Alabama.
